Daeyoung specializes in the production of construction documentation, ensuring accuracy in every detail. Technology comprises much of his work: He is an expert in CAD and BIM, and he makes sure to familiarize himself with most promising software tools for building design.
Before joining SGA, Daeyoung served as a project manager at Macrae-Gibson Architects in New York City. During his ten years at that firm, he focused on school projects that included both new construction and retrofits. At SGA, Daeyoung is expanding his portfolio to include office properties and lab facilities – two building types that lend themselves to technological innovations.
Daeyoung originally came to the U.S. from Korea to study. He earned a Master in Architecture degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with friends.
