As a member of the corporate interiors practice, Sarah supports SGA’s high-level designers, and she is taking on more and more responsibilities involving client interactions, meetings, and site visits. Her favorite aspect of her role is her work in schematic design and design development because these phases lend themselves to creativity and collaboration. She also enjoys researching the history of brands and projects and using this information to create unique designs and to choose finishes.
Sarah first joined SGA as an intern and subsequently was hired as a full-time employee.
She accepted the job offer with alacrity because her experience at the firm had been so positive. She describes the internship as both “comfortable and challenging,” and she appreciated the opportunity to succeed and learn — a process that is continuing.
Sarah earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in interior design from Endicott College. Outside of the office she likes to spend time with friends and family, explore different areas of Boston, travel, cook, and run. She dreams of designing a home for herself on Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire and surrounding herself with relatives and dogs. Ideally the house will have enough room for her impressive collection of beer glasses, amassed during family trips to breweries located in places ranging from New England to Colorado.
