As part of SGA’s interior design team in the New York office, Lauren prepares presentations, researches and procures products and materials, drafts and develops models in Revit, arranges test fits, and creates renderings to convey design intent. Her favorite moment in every project arrives when concepts are transformed from 2D to 3D.
Lauren studied psychology before interior design, and both fields influence her approach to her work. Regardless of the task at hand, she thinks about user experience and how design can enhance the purpose of a space. Her ultimate goal is to promote well-being and productivity.
Before joining SGA, Lauren interned at BHS Design, where she focused on design for single-family homes. Today she works across multiple sectors, including multifamily residential.
Lauren earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Villanova University and a Master of Fine Arts in Interior Design from the New York School of Interior Design. Outside of the office she enjoys spending time with friends and with her dog Keelin, an adopted mixed breed, who is always eager to join Lauren on explorations around the city and hikes outside it. Some of their favorite trails are located near Pennington, New Jersey, where Lauren grew up.
