Michael has closely followed the evolution of commercial office space from traditional layouts and “cube farms” to hubs of collaboration. In his role at SGA, Michael partners with project teams to develop design schemes, prepare documents for clients, and compile samples of materials for presentations. When he works on tenant fit-outs for corporations or laboratories, he selects fixtures, furniture, equipment, and furnishings that create vibrant environments and reflect a company’s unique culture.
Previously, Michael served as a junior interior designer at Wilson Butler Architects. In this capacity, he supported senior staff on projects for theaters and cruise ships. Earlier, as an architectural drafter at UDA Architects, he specialized in tenant fit-outs for commercial spaces – his current focus at SGA.
Michael earned a Master of Science degree in interior architecture and business management from Mount Ida College. Outside of the office, he enjoys painting, sketching, composing music, cooking, entertaining, and sculpting. It is this enthusiasm for creation that Michael brings to his design work at SGA.
