SGA’s addition and renovation of the Edgerton Center for the Performing Arts revitalized
Sacred Heart University’s
main campus entrance and provided pre- and post-performance amenities guests.
Located in the hub of Sacred Heart’s picturesque campus, the Edgerton Center for the Performing Arts is home to various concerts, shows, and lectures, drawing crowds from campus and surrounding regions.
SGA’s jewel box design boasts 20-foot lofted ceilings, clerestory windows, open glazing, a free-
flowing reception space, breakout areas, and improved access to the Hawley student lounge, the dining commons, and the Student Activities Council.
The renovation delivers an inspiring renewal to this renowned performance center, showcasing the university’s robust visual
arts program and providing the performing arts venues the “front door reception” it deserves.
The addition and renovation revitalizes the art gallery and reception space as the “front door” and central access point of campus.
