ON THE FOREFRONT OF TYPEFACE DESIGN AND FONT TECHNOLOGY,
Monotype
WAS SEEKING AN INNOVATIVE DESIGN TO REINFORCE THE COMPANY’S GLOBAL APPROACH TO TECHNOLOGY, DIGITAL LIBRARY EXPANSION, AND THEIR APPROACH TO CONTINUAL RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT.
The modern, sophisticated space celebrates the “glyph” as the main focus of the space, with letter forms abstracted throughout the entry sequence and waiting area, along corridors, and also embedded into flooring and film solutions.
The vibrant office design reflects their corporate culture, attracts and retains employees, showcases their brand, and harnesses their commitment to typography and technology.
With the new space, Monotype transitioned from high-walled cubes and private offices to open workstations with shared collaboration zones.
This brand-infused facility features an open floor plan, collaborative areas, integrated technology, and a pantry area that accommodates “Town Hall” employee meetings. Since moving into their new office space, the company is experiencing increased collaboration and flexibility.
SGA provided employees a variety of spaces: sit-to-stand stations, private offices, huddle rooms, phone rooms, and conference rooms to offer employees multiple options for collaboration and time away from their workstations.
